As a church we have a mission to fulfill and that is taken in Matthew 28:16-20 (NIV)

The Great Commission

16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Some people started serving God and they came out strong, but later on become cold.

Actually our mission as a Christian is possible in God. Do you believe that? Though, sometimes there is hindrances, because, the enemy is in the AIR! don’t get distracted, bring your bible all the time and be READY! In Matthew 4 Jesus Is Tested in the Wilderness1 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted[a] by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

Whatever is said in the bible there is significance.

Like the numbers:

40 - Probation, testing, closing in victory or judgment

7 - Perfection, completeness

5 - Grace, cross, atonement, life

I want to share this to you, God does not tempt people, but the devil is.   He is the author of lies, proud, the accuser, and prosecutor.  Like in the story of Job, God therefore grants Satan the chance to test Job. Due to this, it has been interpreted that Satan is under God’s control and cannot act without God’s permission.

We learn from the Bible that Jesus Christ was manifested that "he might destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

Again, that Jesus partook of human nature that "through death be might destroy him that hath the power of death, that is the devil" (Heb. 2:14 (NIV) 14 Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—

In other words Jesus came to fulfill the Law and He has given us the task!  He is able to fulfill his mission entrusted in our lives and He has given us all the necessary things to fulfill it.

If you draw back you will encounter problems, like in the story of Jonah he set out in the opposite direction in order to get away from the LORD. But, still it is God purpose to send him to Nineveh to save the people there.

Dear fellow Christians, what is your passion? Your Mission starts there.

Have your time with God and he will guide you your part. Remember in Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" You must be well verse and know the bible.

As Jesus are able to do his work.  We can also do it by His grace. If God overcomes the testing to fulfill his MISSION, we can also do it! Matthew 4:20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
